Educated, a personal memoir by Tara Westover describes her early childhood to mid 20’s and adulthood. Westover recounts overcoming her survivalist Mormon household in order to go to college, and emphasizes the significance of schooling in enlarging her world. This is an eye opening book and makes one realize how important education is. Whether it is a high school education or beyond, it is important to be an avid learner to expand one’s view on life at whatever stage in life you are at.
